We are pleased to inform you that the full program of the International Care Conference “Does Europe Care?” can now be consulted on the conference website (www.careconference.eu).

The conference includes presentations and contributions by distinguished speakers in the field, both in the plenary sessions and in the 24 workshops!

The official opening will be celebrated with a plenary speech by Mr. Koos Richelle, Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.

We also wish to draw your attention to the site visits, organized on the day before the conference. These visits will give you the opportunity to get acquainted with long term care in Amsterdam, and to exchange views and experience with professionals in long term care institutions. In preparation of the conference a study was performed on long-term care in Europe. A report on this study, entitled “Long Term Care in Europe, the State of the Art”, is now included in the website.
